In addition to GP consultations the practice offers a comprehensive range of clinics and healthcare services:
This list may be amended from time to time to meet demand and the needs of the community. If you are interested in attending any of these clinics, please contact our receptionists who will advise you whether you need to see a doctor first, make you an appointment or provide you with a contact number.
If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel you need to make an appointment with the practice nurse to discuss your travel arrangements. This will include which countries and areas within countries that you are visiting to determine what vaccinations are required.
There is further information about countries and vaccinations required on the links below
It is important to make this initial appointment as early as possible - at least 6 weeks before you travel - as a second appointment will be required with the practice nurse to actually receive the vaccinations. These vaccines have to be ordered as they are not a stock vaccine. Your second appointment needs to be at least 2 weeks before you travel to allow the vaccines to work.
Some travel vaccines are ordered on a private prescription and these incur a charge over and above the normal prescription charge. This is because not all travel vaccinations are included in the services provided by the NHS.

Some services provided are not covered under our contract with the NHS and therefore attract charges. Examples include the following:
The are based on the British Medical Association (BMA) suggested scales and our reception staff will be happy to advise you about them along with appointment availability.

From 1 April 2015 we are required under our contract to allocate a named, accountable GP to ALL patients (including children).
All patients who were on the practice list prior to 1 April 2015 will need to be allocated their named accountable GP.
Please ask our receptionist who your named accountable GP is the next time you are in surgery. There is no need to telephone the surgery about this.
Please note this does not mean that you have to always see this GP - you can continue to see any GP that you wish as you have always done.
If you wish your named accountable GP to be changed please ask the receptionist she will do this for you.
Your named accountable GP is responsible for patients' overall care at the practice.
You can now register to receive information by text message on your phone regarding appointments and health care.
Please give your mobile telephone number to reception to register for this service.
