Governing Body and Public Engagement Meetings

The Governing Body of NHS Eastern Cheshire Clinical Commissioning Group holds meetings in public once every two months . Members of the public are welcome to attend the Governing Body meetings (previously known as "Board Meetings").

Although meetings are held in public the meetings are not a public meeting. Members of the public are invited to listen to the Governing Body's discussions, observe the decision-making process and have the opportunity to formally raise a question to the Governing Body at the invitation of the Chair at the Public Speaking Section of the meeting.

Following the completion of Governing Body meetings, members of the public are also invited to attend an informal meeting with  GP Governing Body Members starting at 3.30pm onwards where there is an opportunity to raise questions or concerns. Members of the public need not have attended the Governing Body meeting beforehand and are welcome to attend just for this one hour session.

The Agenda and supporting papers for each Governing Body meeting are made available on this website to the public in the week before the date of the meeting.

Copies of the agenda and minutes are also sent to the following libraries within Eastern Cheshire:
