The surgery is open Monday to Friday between 08:00 - 18:30. Surgery times are as follows:
Surgeries are usually held Monday to Friday 8.30am - 11.00am and 3.30pm - 6.00pm.
However, we do occasional early morning surgeries which run from 7.15am-8.00am, and late surgeries which run from 6.30pm-8.00pm.
Appointments are made by ringing the surgery or by booking on-line. To book on-line you will need to bring two forms of ID to the surgery to get a PIN number. One ID to show proof of date of birth, and the other to show proof of address (utility bills must be no older than 3 months)
We book appointments up to 6 weeks ahead.
Appointments can be made at any time of the day.
If appointments have all gone we may ask you to speak to a Practice Nurse on triage, this is to ensure that you are given an appointment with the right clinician at the right time.
Cumberland House is one of six local surgeries now located in Waters Green Medical Centre. All surgeries are located on the 2nd floor but there are three lifts available. There are also toilet facilities with a wide-access door for patients in wheelchairs. There are ten designated parking spaces available in the car park.
The Medical Centre has car parking facilities for 134 patients and visitors - 10 of which are marked for disabled patients. The car park entrance is on Boden Street (SK11 6LL) and the exit from the car park is on Charlotte Street and then Pickford Street.
Parking is free for patients and their carers only when attending for appointments at the surgery, the 1st floor or The Hub.
Parking is for up to one hour.
Please enter your car registration number into the terminal based in the reception area.
If you feel that you are going to be longer than one hour please inform the receptionist.
The car park is tightly controlled by Parking Eye. Anyone who uses the car park who is not attending the surgery as a patient will be charged £70.

You will be able to speak to the doctor or nurse at the centre and explain the problem. You may be given advice or asked to attend the Out of Hours in Macclesfield. Home visits will be made only where necessary e.g. the very elderly, terminally ill or those in nursing homes.
Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
